Dice Stats

This page is for my own benefit as well as yours. More to be added when I get round to it.

  • Below is the percentage chances of rolling the following value exactly. The percentage shown is for either value in the top box being rolled (e.g. to roll a combined total of 12 on 2 dice would be 2.78%):

  • For Skaven players, there is a really good dice stat page over at Underempire which can be very useful as it gives the chances of getting an irresistable force for normal players and skaven players (need a 13 rather than 2 or more sixes). Check it out here.
  • An other great resource I found was here. It gives good stats for 7th edition spell casting. It gives the percentage chance for each casting value and the number of dice you roll. There is also a leadershiop chart on anothe page that give warm-blooded and cold-blooded leadership test percentages.

Here’s something my girlfriend found out in mathes statistics; have you noticed when you roll a dice on a smooth surface only four sides will touch base so if your devious and place your dice in your palm correctly your limiting your dice outcomes, which would be useful if you wanted to say avoid the result of a one. i.e if 3 and 4 were on the sides you now have a 50% chance of a 5+; if 1 and 6 are on the sides you should never roll a 1 and therefore always get 2+. Obviously this isn’t cast iron as multiple dice can knock each other but with the right flick of a wrist you will have a good spread of your dice and avoid knockage.
Not that none of us would be that dishonest but look out for palm placing dice that aren’t shaken.
