Here’s an introduction to all the guys I regularly play with, so either you know who I’m talking about or so you feel a part of the family.
Scott: I met Scott about a year ago and have played regularly with and against him ever since. Played as empire until the new High Elves came out and has just started a Dark Elf army. We call him Scott ‘the italian tank commander’ (sorry Scott) as his High Elves always seem to be marching backwards rather than forwards. We’re hoping the new Dark Elves will change this temporary style of play
Stuart: I’ve known Stuart for a couple of years and due to the fact we both have lizardmen, chaos and daemon armies we tend to team up a lot. With his beasts and my skaven we done fairly well at the 2007 London conflict.
Like Carl, Stuart also suffers from the multiple army syndrome, but doctors are still trying to identify why stuarts syndrome forces him to concentrate on spearhead box sets.
Tyler: I’ve known tyler for about 16 years and although everyone on this page is a good mate of mine, he’s the only guy I didn’t meet through playing Warhammer. In my opinion he’s the best painter in the group, and due to this ends up painting most of carls armies.
As long as I remember he’s always played Empire. His empire army is deeply based around the state of Ostland and has a lot of mordheim and kislev elements. He prefers a very mixed army with equal amounts of magic, shooting and combat.
Gav 1: I know Gav through Carl. He must have spent many many years training under the elite SAS as his tactics are similar, gather up a small elite force and try and blast your way in and out without taking any casualties. Yes, in case you hadn’t guessed it high elves are Gavs speciality, most commonly seen with ‘I have the same toughness as a skink’ Teclis hovering around.
Still to come: The other Gav.
